Sarah E. Heise Sarah E. Heise was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1977. She graduated from Dexter High School in Dexter, Missouri in 1995. She attained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Mississippi State University in 1998 where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her law degree from Washburn University School of Law in 2001, graduating with Dean's Honors. Prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2004, Mrs. Heise was an Assistant Attorney General in the Labor Division of the Missouri Attorney General's Office. She currently maintains a general civil practice with emphasis in the areas of insurance defense law, workers' compensation law and litigation. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and also serves as a district representative and council member of the Young Lawyer's Section of the Missouri Bar Association.
